Coaching Standards & Expectations

Coaches within the Cultural Wealth Sports NFL FLAG program serve as mentors and leaders for young athletes.

All coaches are expected to:

• Promote athlete development and learning
• Provide a safe and encouraging environment
• Teach teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
• Follow all league and safety guidelines

Coaches must also complete any required league certifications and background checks when applicable.

Cultural Wealth Sports values coaches who prioritize player development and character building over winning at all costs.
